DFCU Summer Party

This past weekend we got the opportunity to drive to Salt Lake for the credit union's summer party. The girls had a pretty good time. They got their faces painted and got lots of candy from the pinata.

Emma asked to be a horse.

Here is Lila taking a whack at the pinata.

Nate's New Do

Nathan has decided that this is his new motorcycle look. What a stud! (I HATE that hat!!)

Emma's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Emma started Kindergarten TODAY!! She is so excited. She wore her pretty new dress and her pretty new shoes and had her pretty new backpack (call me Marti). She just had to pose!!

When we got to her classroom, her teacher set her on a treasure hunt to help her get acquainted with her room and the rules of the class. She had a lot of fun getting acquainted with the drinking fountain and the slide!

Here she is. She really didn't want to leave. She kept asking, "Mom when are we going to get taught?" Soon enough, Emmabug. Soon enough.

Emma Through the Years

Emma is starting school in two days (pics of that moment will be forth coming). Anyhoodle, I thought it would be fun to show how far she has come.

Here is a pic of Emma 1 day old. She was 5 lbs and 9 ozs. Grandpa Z said that he had caught fish bigger than her. :)

Here is Emma at 6 months old with her daddy. We were at the Homestead in Heber, UT

Emma's first tooth brush. She sure thought she was such a big girl! She was 1 year old.

2 years old on her birthday. This is the bike that Aunt Missy got for her.

This is on Two Top. One of my favorite pictures of Emma.

Emma 3 years old in the first Christmas dress I ever made for her.

Emma 4 years old.

Emma 5 years old.

We are so proud of our Emma. She is a good little girl who is funny, brave, a peacemaker, and a very big helper in our family. She loves to do her school work, play with her friends and mostly her sisters. She loves going to church and singing in primary. We love her to pieces!

Look forward to pictures of Emma going to Kindergarten on her first day!
